Maths Wk 4

For maths this week I did Mangahigh Quick Methods for Multiplication. This was a bit hard because some of the questions I didn't know the answer to, and had to ask help for. Maybe in spare time I could practice this task over and aver until I get it.

Maths Wk 2

My Mangahigh task this week was to find equivalent fractions to another fraction. This task was a little bit hard when you had to find another way to write the fraction that was given, but I managed to try and figure out by myself what it meant, but I couldn't figure it out so I asked a friend. One of the easy things about this task was finding how many thirds, or sixths are inside of 1 whole.

AWS Worksheet Maths

For maths this week I did Algebra, by finding the rules of a pattern. Like if it went, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12...then what I had to do was find the rule of this pattern. One of the things I found tricky was when big numbers were given and I had to find the rule.

Mangahigh Maths Reflection

WALT: Calculating angles around a point

For this task some questions were easy, and some were hard. Some of the questions that I got were hard like, what was the angle between two angles, those questions were hard. So maybe in my spare time I could work on the angles between angles.

WALT convert units of measurements.

SC:

  • Identify unit of measurement
  • Convert measurement between mm, cm, m, km
  • Use the conversion scale

For maths this week I have done the AWS worksheet. Which is basically work that is given on a sheet. For this weeks task I did convert units of fractions. I found this task a bit challenging because I didn't really know how to do it. I found the first questions easy because I knew how to measure it by the millimeters, centimeters, meters, and kilometers. I found those questions easy, but then it moved onto the harder questions then that is when it got difficult. Maybe in my spare time I could work on some of these questions so I can get better at them.

Prodigy Reflection

What I did well:
  • I did well on answering the questions
  • I did well on keeping on trying to answer the questions even though it was hard
  • I did well on not giving up on trying to answer these kind of questions

What didn’t go so well:
  • I didn't go so well because these kind of questions were hard and I didn’t understand it like What is the least common multiple of 2 and 4?
  • I didn't go so well because I couldn't find the exponent of a certain number

My next step/s
  • My next step is to try and work on these kind of questions a bit more
  • I need to focus on finding the common multiples of numbers

WALT: Relate fractions and decimals

In this maths I had to see what fractions could relate to the fraction that was given. Some of the questions that were asked were hard, but some of them were easy. This activity was hard, so I did it  over, and over until I got it, but I still didn't get it.
