Reading Blog-English Skills Book

What I did well:
  • I did well on answering the questions and using my prior knowledge
  • I did well in trying to answer the questions with only using my prior knowledge to solve it.

What I didn't well:
  • I didn’t stay on track like usual.
  • I found it hard to read some of the questions because it didn’t make sense to me.
  • I only did one task (Activity) . When I usually do 2 tasks.
My next steps:

  • Next steps for me is to try harder next time.
  • To read the questions and know what they mean. (Properly).
  • Do a more challenging task than doing everything about “nouns”

Prodigy Reflection



What I did well:
  • I did well on answering the questions
  • I did well on keeping on trying to answer the questions even though it was hard
  • I did well on not giving up on trying to answer these kind of questions

What didn’t go so well:
  • I didn't go so well because these kind of questions were hard and I didn’t understand it like What is the least common multiple of 2 and 4?
  • I didn't go so well because I couldn't find the exponent of a certain number


My next step/s
  • My next step is to try and work on these kind of questions a bit more
  • I need to focus on finding the common multiples of numbers

Into The Book Reading




WALT Improve our use of reading strategies

SC:

  • Identify areas I need to work on
  • Complete the activity associated with that strategy
  • Use all prior knowledge of strategies






Into the book I learnt how to summarize. I learnt how to summarize properly, I learnt that when you summarize you have to go over the main parts from the story. It is like telling the story all over again but only with the main parts. One of the activities that I found challenging was picturing the story in my mind, then drawing it. So that is called visualizing. So I have to work on visualizing so I can get better at it.

WALT: Relate fractions and decimals


In this maths I had to see what fractions could relate to the fraction that was given. Some of the questions that were asked were hard, but some of them were easy. This activity was hard, so I did it  over, and over until I got it, but I still didn't get it.

In this task my job was to Summarise the story. I found it hard to summarise the story because I had to do it in front of the group. I found it easy to understand the story then summarise the story.
